成考专升本英语：常见的“to do”与“doing”的用法总结！

1.stop to do/stop doing sth

分析：stop to do sth.意指“慢下来（已经做的事）去做（此外的）某件事”，to do sth.在句中作目的状语。而 stop doing sth.意指“终止做（已经做的）某件事”。如

Mary stopped to speak to me.玛丽莱停住（手头上的工作中）来跟我发言。

When the teacher came in.the students stopped talking.教师进去时，学员们终止发言。

2.remember to do/remember doing sth

分析：remember to do sth.意指“记牢要去做某件事”（都还没做）。而remember doing sth.意指“还记得（早已）做了某件事”如：

Please remember to sendt he letter for me.请记牢为发了这一封信。

I dont remember eating such food some where.我不会还记得在哪儿吃过这类食材。

3.forget to do/forget doing sth

分析：forget to do sth.意指“忘掉做某件事”（姿势都还没产生）。而forget doing sth.意指“忘掉做了某件事”（姿势已产生）。如：

Don’t forget to bring your photo here.别忘记将你的照片产生。

I have forgotten giving the book to him.我忘掉我已把书给了他。

4.go on to do/go on doing sth

分析：go on to do sth.意指“做完一件事，然后做此外一件事”，2件事中间有可能有一种联络。而go on doing sth.意指“再次做下来”。如：

After reading the text,the students went on to do the exercises.学员们看完课文内容后，然后做训练。

It＇s raining hard,but the farmers go on working on thefarm.尽管天正下起暴雨，但农户们再次在农场干活儿。

5.try to do/try doing sth

分析：try to do sth.意指“竭尽全力某件事”，而try doing sth.意指“（用某一种方法）尝试去做某件事”。如：

Try to come a little early next time,please.下一次请尽可能尽早来。

6.can＇t help to do/can＇t help doing sth

分析：can＇thelp to do为动词不定式构造；can＇t help doing sth.意指“身不由已地去做某件事”或“不由自主地去做某件事。”如：

We can＇t help to finish it.我们不能帮助进行这事。

I couldn＇t help laughing when I saw her strange face.在我见到她惊讶的脸时，我不由自主地笑了。

7.hear sb.do/hear sb.doing sth

分析：hear sb.do sth.意指“听到别人做某件事”，指听到了这一操作的整个过程；hear sb.doing sth.意指“听见别人做某件事”，指听见情况下，这一姿势已经产生。如：

I often hear him sing in the class room.我经常听到他在教室里歌唱。

Do you hear someone knocking at the door?你听到有人在敲门吗？

应当表明的是：和hear的使用方法一样的也有see、watch、notice等。
