1、“It is in(with)…as in(with)”

2、“All 抽象名词”或“抽象名词 itself”(very 修饰词)

3、“many as well…as”和“might as well …as” “many as well…as”可译为“与其说……，比不上……，更强”，“以这种做……为宜”，“好似……，还可以……”这些。“might as well …as”表明不可能的事，可译为“宛如……”，“可与……一样荒诞”，“与其说那般不如这样的好”这些。

4、“as good as…”相当于，如同，基本上如;事实上，实际上，确实。

5、as…as…can(may)be

6、运用语汇反复表明注重

7、同格专有名词装饰就是指of前后左右的两种专有名词都指同一个人或物，“of”及其它之前的专有名词组成一个形容词短语，以装饰“of”后边的那一个专有名词。如“her old sharper of a father”，可译为：“她那骗子公司一样的爸爸”。

8、It作优先谓语和优先宾语的一些句式

She had said what it was necessary to say.

9、“something(much)of”和“nothing(little)of” “something of”等同于“to some extent”，表明水平。在一般疑问句或条件从句中，则为“anything of ”，可译为“有点儿”，“稍微”等。译为“没什么”，“毫无”。much of译成“有很大的”，not much of可译为“谈不上”，“不能叫作”，little of可译为“基本上无”，something like译成“有些像，略似”。
